How is a bill priced?
From the rate of the day set that morning. Each line shows the weight, the metal value, the making charge, wastage and any stones, so the customer sees how the price was reached. Old gold taken in is set against the bill at the buying rate.
Can it keep track of gold sent to the karigar?
Yes. Metal issued to each karigar and the pieces received back are kept in fine weight for the purity being made, with wastage checked against what was agreed, so you always know how many grams each karigar holds.
Does it handle custom orders?
Yes. Take the order with the customer’s design, their own metal or stones if they bring any, and an advance. When the piece comes back from the karigar it is billed against the order, with the advance and metal already counted.
Does it work in Nepali with BS dates?
Yes. Each person chooses Nepali or English for themselves, and dates are in Bikram Sambat throughout, on screen, on bills and in the reports.
